"Stuff"

Ok, today my post has nothing to do with crafting...well, not really.  It DOES have to do with the original "potter" who forms each of us everyday.  It has been sort of a crazy time for me as of late.  Things at work piling up, issues with friends, personal issues...just a lot of  STUFF.  This morning on my way into work, I turned the radio to a station I haven't listened to in a while and a song was on entitled "This is the Stuff" by Francesca Battistelli.  The song hit me HARD!  All of the sudden, I found myself smiling and crying all at the same time (I'm sure the other drivers around me were wondering what I was doing).  I had been letting the "stuff" of life get to me, forgetting what was really important in life...that I am BLESSED beyond words.  Blessed with a wonderful husband and son, a roof over my head, food on our table, a job to go to every day, friends and family.  The trials of life shouldn't over-shadow all that He has given me...that is a tough one to remember.  I pray that if you are reading this, that our wonderful Father is with you and that He continues to bless you just as He has me.  And remember "I've gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing, might not be what I might choose but this is the stuff You use".

Be BLESSED!

Anna :)

  1. This is my absolute FAVORITE song right now! The first time I heard it I was laughing out loud listening to the words! My girls and I sing it at the top of our lungs when it comes on. My husband hates it, says it is whinny! What does he know? He can't find a beat :-) I love him anyway. I so get it Anna! And so glad you found some peace with this song. Hugs friend!
